What’s new this Market?

Something big this season at High Point Market? Drexel Heritage’s new upholstered pieces. Traditional furniture designs such as desks, side tables, dining tables and sofa tables were transformed with the addition of colorful and patterned fabrics, nailhead trim and glass tabletops. Along with a few new Drexel Heritage antique paint finishes, these upholstered pieces were a major hit at Market!
Ellie and Michelle from Lonny Magazine especially loved the fabrics on the upholstered desks and tables. Denise Alala, vice president of upholstery design, took the Lonny Magazine ladies around the showroom for the full tour. We love this photo we were able to snap of Ellie, Michelle and Denise during a quick break.
During their tour, they even took a moment to sign their names on the chalkboard wall. It was a fun way for both Ellie and Michelle (and all of the showroom guests, for that matter) to become a part of the Drexel Heritage Market experience.
If you had a chance to stop by the Drexel Heritage showroom, did you have a chance to sign your name? And be sure to tell us what you think of our new upholstered pieces!
Didn’t get to make it down to High Point this year due too how busy we are up here in NJ but saw some images of the upholstered pieces and they look great. Can’t wait to see more of them! Let us know of any other updates.
Hello Drexel! – Congratulations on putting together a fantastic showroom this market. It was inspiring and refreshing. Loved seeing some of the existing collections painted… Adaptations looked so fresh in the painted creme especially the 4 Post bed. Can’t wait to inspire our staff and clients. Please post the photos on the marketing site soon. Bravo!
