If you haven’t heard of Pinterest yet, you will soon. We just joined this online collecting community, and we can’t wait to start pinning all of our favorite Drexel pieces and decorating ideas! Here are a few quick tips on how to use Pinterest to organize and share your own design inspirations.
Pinterest, who?
Pinterest is a virtual pinboard where users can curate a collection of their favorite things. Of course, we love to pin our favorite decorating trends, colors and pieces, and we look forward to seeing what you share, too!
Pin your findings
Find a picture or video that you love while reading one of your favorite blogs? Hit the “Pin It” button and share it with everyone on Pinterest. Users can save your pin, share it with others and even be linked back to the website you pinned the picture from originally.
Plan your next design project
If you’re planning on starting a new project, use Pinterest to help you organize all of your ideas. Pin inspiring photos, color schemes and Drexel furniture to one of your boards and stay organized on all of your design projects!
Feeling inspired? Check us out on Pinterest. We’ll be sure to share all of the newest Drexel products and ideas, and hope you will, too! How are you currently using Pinterest to share your design inspirations? Any more tips to share?
Introducing Celladora
Posted on December 15, 2011 by jbutler in Furniture Market
If you stopped by our showroom during the spring or fall 2011 season of High Point Market, then you caught a glimpse of Celladora, one of our newest collections. Celladora’s diverse elements, surprising shapes and carefully nurtured color palettes come together with Portuguese and Spanish influences to create a look that is more collected than decorated.
And the best part? The wait is over. Celladora is hitting Drexel Heritage showroom floors across the country as we speak (or should we say, write?). Before dropping by your local store, be sure to check out this video featuring Carl Bundy, our vice president of product development, to get the run-down on this beautiful collection.
More love from #hpmkt

A few weeks ago, we shared photos and comments from some of our favorite bloggers who visited us during High Point Market in October. One month later, we’re still blushing and want to say thanks for sharing more #hpmkt love.
Our friends at Apartment Therapy snapped this photo of one of our new custom upholstered tables. “Blues, greys and emeralds,” they wrote in their 2011 Fall High Point Market Trend Report. “These three colors could not be ignored throughout the entire market.”
Two observations of designer Franki Durbin, author of Life in a Venti Cup: pale monochromatic colorways, like our New Hues collection of custom paint finishes, and…
fringe is back (see pillows).
What did Cassandra Lavalle, the mastermind behind coco+kelley, love about our showroom? “[The way] one area weaves into another, subtly changing themes as they go,” she wrote. She especially loved the flow between our At Home in the Wine Country collection (introduced last year)…
and our newest introduction, Renderings. How do you like it?
But her favorite feature was this vignette featuring our Christelle Settee and two Dylan Ottomans. Green was definitely a big hit this Market season!
Once again, thank you to everyone who stopped by our showroom. We can’t wait to see you again next season!
