Get Organized

Posted on 10. Jan, 2012 by in Trendy Tips

Connoisseur End Table

We do it every year: we make a New Year’s resolution to get more organized. In hopes of making this seemingly daunting task a bit more fun (and stylish), here are four ways to get started:

1) Add an end table (or two). Need more shelf space in your living room? Add an end table to each end of your sofa. We recommend our Connoisseur End Table — this three-shelf piece provides even more space for books, magazines and picture frames.

Zenia Hall Chest

2) Take advantage of hall space. If your living area is a little cramped, we recommend adding a hall chest (like our Zenia Hall Chestto the mix. It will offer plenty of extra storage for blankets, holiday decorations and the like, and will look great as a stand-alone piece in your hallway.

Alan Storage Ottoman

3) Hide clutter inside an ottoman. Remove the cushioned top to our Alan Storage Ottoman to unveil a secret place to stash away toys, blankets and magazines.

4) Screen clutter from view. Messy shelves? Screen them from view using our Urban Contemporary Screen. Not only will this piece hide unsightly clutter — it will also make a statement!

Any other organizational decorating tips to share? We’d love to hear them!
